Les ateliers d‘écriture du Festival Spider s’organisent autour de la poétique et la Nef des fous (Sébastian Brant, 1494) Après Athènes et Ljubljana le dernier volet des ces ateliers itinérants aura lieu à Lyon aux Subsistances du 6 au 8 octobre 2011. Trois intervenants, Pierre Tallaron (Fr), Christos Polymenakos (Gr) et Andreja Kopac (Sl), développent et proposent des qualités de lecture diverses de La nef des fous. Chaque journée d’atelier sera dirigée par un intervenant et axée sur leurs interprétations de ce motif. Dans l’ensemble des trois ateliers, la concentration ne se fera pas sur la production littéraire mais sur les multiples voies pour provoquer l‘état d‘écriture: Quel lien entre la nécessité d‘écrire et un contexte prédéterminé?
Jour 1
Pierre Tallaron débutera la série des trois ateliers et proposera une immersion dans les “totem poem”. Les “totem poem” sont des écrits dont la structure narrative est désarticulée: une écriture intuitive. Les mots, phrases, textes naissent d’expériences liées aux perceptions de l’espace. Comment réinitialiser nos sensations et retrouver “l‘état de la page blanche” devant chaque chose comme source d’inspiration.
Jour 2
Christos Polymenakos s’inscrira dans les horizons de la page blanche et guidera chacun des participants dans une mise en condition profonde et détaillée de l’oiseau que nous pourrions être.
À partir de discussions et d’interrogations sur nos modes de vie mais aussi d’expériences sensibles dans l’espace public, Christos Polymenakos nous invite à devenir ailé.
Un seul temps d‘écriture est mis en place à la toute fin de l’atelier : comment l’oiseau que je suis voit le monde où je vis?
Jour 3
Andreja Kopac transporte nos points de vue d’oiseaux à nos points de vue d’individu humain et sociabilisé. Comment la référence nous fait elle exister?
Comment sommes nous définis par rapport à nos points de vue sur les choses du monde? À partir d’articles de presse et d’idéographies référantes de nos sociétés, nous jouons à interchanger les prismes de nos points de vue.
L’organisation des trois ateliers se tisse dans un mouvement d‘écriture cohérent qui va de l’acte d‘écriture premier (sans pensée), à une écriture référencée (le monde vu par l’oiseau que nous sommes), à la transposition de nos perceptions à des références multiples (l’ouverture de nos point de vue sur le monde).

Workshop 1 : Élargir les perceptions, Matej Kejžar

À propos du workshop:
Le workshop débutera autour de la notion d’ouverture du corps – “Opening the body” – grâce à une série d’exercices se concentrant sur les multiples niveaux sensoriels, l’appréhension de l’espace et du temps. Ensuite, l’exploration de différentes techniques de recherche du mouvement sera le terrain de jeu où l’inattendu pourra se révéler.
En se concentrant sur la forme, nous proposerons au corps une perpétuelle transition via différentes dynamiques et principes de mouvement. Des situations imprévues se créent alors spontanément, au delà de toute attente.
Par ailleurs, en travaillant à partir de matériaux chorégraphiques personnels, nous nous interrogerons sur la composition, la création de situations de groupe, où chacun pourra développer son interprétation, singulière.
L’objectif est d‘élargir sa propre perception. La question est celle du langage commun.
À propos de Matej Kejzar
Après avoir obtenu son diplôme au SNDO (School for New Dance Development) à Amsterdam en 1998, il a suivi le cycle « X-Group » de P.A.R.T.S. à Bruxelles.
Au cours de ses études il a créé plusieurs pièces dans les domaines de l’improvisation et de la composition. Il a continué son travail de chorégraphe, créant plusieurs pièces dont le solo Senser, le duo Simultaneous pour un comédien et un danseur, un solo pour deux danseurs Burlesque, une collaboration avec A. Ivancic et The Stroj intitulé Zac et Little Red Riding Hood en collaboration avec le peintre Jaša Mravlje.
En tant qu’interprète, il a travaillé avec plusieurs chorégraphes, dont Maja Delak, Mala Kline, Katie Duck, Martin Sonderkamp, etc.
Par ailleurs, Matej Kejzar enseigne la technique contemporaine, l’improvisation et la composition à différentes écoles dont PARTS, SEAD, SND, ainsi qu’au sein de compagnies professionnelles dont Ultima Vez (Belgique), Rosas (Belgique) et En Knap (Slovénie).
Il a été invité à présenter son travail dans différents pays, notamment en Autriche, Russie, Italie, Inde, Espagne, Chine, Bulgarie, Serbie, Croatie, Grèce, Turquie, Pologne, aux Pays-Bas, etc.
Depuis 2009, Matej Kezjar travaille également avec Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker.
Cette même année, il s’installe à Bruxelles et forme Spider – projet d‘échange artistique international avec Kink Kong (Sl), Loge 22 (Fr) et Kinitiras (Gr). L’objectif du réseau est de connecter des artistes d’horizons et de domaines artistiques différents.

À propos du workshop
L’atelier dirigé par les membres du Collectif Loge22 invite le groupe à une exploration du mouvement. Utilisant une série d’outils chorégraphiques découverts au fil de leurs recherches et de leurs expériences, ils offrent à chacun une pratique du corps à travers le temps et l’espace.
« Nous proposons des tasks (écriture instantanée, composition de groupe, contraintes physiques, écriture de matériel…) dans lesquelles l’interprète, à force d’investigations trouve un espace de liberté afin d’exprimer ses sensations, ses sentiments et ses émotions. Il s’agit, ensemble, d’observer comment le corps réagit, se structure et s’ajuste face aux différentes propositions ; mettre le corps en mouvement afin de trouver la danse. »
L’atelier est ouvert à toutes les personnes qui ont un intérêt personnel pour l’exploration, peu importe leur expérience.
À propos de Julien Monty
Diplômé du Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris en 1997, Julien Monty intègre le Ballet de l’Opéra de Nice. Avide d’expériences, il quitte le monde du Ballet pour rejoindre celui de la danse contemporaine. Il rencontre différents chorégraphes comme Jo Strømgren et intègre la compagnie Nye Carte Blanche.
De retour en France, il intègre le Ballet Preljocaj pour deux saisons. Plus tard, il travaille au Ballet de l’Opéra de Lyon où il aborde les travaux de chorégraphes tels que Mathilde Monnier, William Forsythe ou encore Philippe Decouflé.
Depuis 2001, il collabore intimement avec François Laroche-Valière. Il participe à tous ses projets, dont le dernier en date: Signature-(solo) créé en novembre 2009.
Parallèlement, Julien Monty co-fonde en 2005 le Collectif Loge 22 à Lyon avec Marie Goudot et Michael Pomero, au sein duquel il sévit en tant que chorégraphe et interprète.
Depuis 2008, il intervient ponctuellement au CNSM de Lyon dans le cadre d’ateliers chorégraphiques. Pour le Jeune Ballet, il créé Point d’Ancrage en janvier 2010.
Depuis 2010, il travaille avec Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker.
À propos de Michael Pomero
Après une formation au sein de l‘école pluridisciplinaire Rudra, Michaël Pomero intègre le Béjart Ballet Lausanne pour deux saisons. Désireux d’élargir ses horizons, il rejoint l’Opéra National de Lyon en 2001 où il travaille notamment avec John Jasperse, Dominique Boivin, Maguy Marin, Mats Ek, Angelin Preljocaj et Russell Maliphant.
En 2003, il choisit d’évoluer en free-lance. Il collabore alors avec Russell Maliphant pour deux créations à Londres et participe à différents projets en Suisse et en Angleterre.
En 2005, il co-fonde le Collectif Loge 22 à Lyon qu’il envisage comme un laboratoire. Il intervient dans l‘élaboration de Rubaïs 3, Rubaïs 4, la marge, Déambulation affective et Rémanence ou il fait bon, je tombe.
En 2006, il participe à la dernière création de Christiane Blaise puis à celle de Pierre Tallaron. Il travaille aussi avec Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker et sa compagnie Rosas pour le Repertory Evening.
Pour Loge 22, il réalise FLAT (2006) sélectionné au Festival Dance on Screen de Londres, crée la performance Compresse et Réduction pour le Festival de danse de Cannes 2007, puis Sur Faces en co-écriture avec Julien Monty.
En 2009, il participe à la création d’Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker The Song, et travaille sur la création 2011.
À propos de Marie Goudot
Dès son plus jeune âge, Marie est initiée aux arts vivants à l’Ecole des Enfants du Spectacle à Paris ainsi que dans plusieurs conservatoires de danse.
Elle continue sa formation à l’école-atelier Rudra (Kendo, théâtre, chant, ballet et Graham technique) puis rejoint le Béjart Ballet Lausanne pour une période de deux ans.
De 2000 à 2002, elle participe aux créations des Ballets de la parenthèse avec le chorégraphe Christophe Garcia à Marseille.
En 2003, Marie rejoint Russell Maliphant à Londres jusqu’en 2005 pour plusieurs créations et tournées internationales.
De retour en France en 2005, elle co-fonde le Collectif Loge 22 avec Michael Pomero et Julien Monty, collaboration artistique qui donnera lieu à huit créations, deux films de danse et un projet d‘échanges artistiques européen, Spider.
De 2006 à 2010 Marie travaille régulièrement avec la compagnie Alias à Genève et le chorégraphe Guillerme Bothello pour une création et plusieurs reprises de rôles.
En 2007, elle participe au processus de la création Et pour s‘éloigner, de François Laroche-Valière.
En 2009, elle commence une formation de Technique Alexander auprès d’Eulalia Sagarra.
Parallèlement, Marie dirige des cours de danse contemporaine et des ateliers d’improvisation à Genève (Alias Cie), Grenoble (le Pacifique CDC), Lyon (la Scène sur Saône)… Depuis 2010, elle travaille avec Rosas pour la création 2011 d’Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker.
Depuis plusieurs années, Loge 22 développe un travail d’atelier et un travail pédagogique – un échange de savoir faire en lien direct avec nos préoccupations artistiques – adressés tant aux amateurs qu’aux professionnels.

Open call for writing workshops

The writing Lab of Spider Festival is organized around the Ship of Fools (Sébastian Brant, 1494) and the poetics. After Athens and Ljubljana, the last part of these nomadic workshops will take place in Lyon in Les Subsistances from the 6th till the 8th of October 2011. Three mentors: Pierre Tallaron (Fr), Christos Polymenakos (Gr) and Andreja Kopac (Sl) develop and propose various qualities of reading The Ship of Fools. Each day of workshop will be led by a mentor and will focus on his (her) own interpretations of the topic. During the three workshops, the concentration will not be made on the literary production but on multiple ways to provoke the state of writing. What links the necessity of writing and a predetermined context?
Day 1
The Totem Poems are written with the narrative structure is disjointed: an intuitive writing. Words, sentences, texts arise from experiences through the perceptions of space. How to reset our sensations and return to the state of the « blank page », to each thing as source of inspiration.
Day 2
Christos Polymenakos will follow the line of the « blank page » and guide each participant through a deep and detailed work on the state of the bird that we could be. Starting from discussions and interrogations about our lifestyles but also through sensitive experiences in public space, Christos invites us to become winged. A time of writing is set up at the end of the workshop: how the bird that I am sees the world I live in?
Day 3
Andreja Kopac carries our point of views of birds in our point of view of human and socialized individual. How the reference makes us exist? How are we defined depending on our perspective on things in the world? From newspaper articles and ideographs of our societies, we play to interchange the prisms of our point of view.
The organization of three workshops weaves in a coherent movement of writing, which goes from the first act of writing (without thinking), to a referenced writing (the world seen by the bird whom we are), in the transposition of our perceptions in multiple references (the opening of our point of views on the world).

About the workshop
Workshop starts with the term »opening the body« by series of exercises, focused on opening on the sensory level, considering space, evoked moment and provoked situations. Techniques of movement research are used as playground for unexpected to happen, where unknown depends on manipulation from the others, realising the moment of how unexpected happen. Looking at the shape, we address the body in constant transition, experiencing different dynamics and movement principals. Participants may experience situations that they would never think of or would never decide for. From working on personal material we look at situations from a compositional point of view by creating group situations. Individuals can develop their own interpretation. The goal is to open the perception. The question is how to develop a common language.
À propos de Matej Kejzar
Graduated from SNDO, Amsterdam in 1998 and finished The X ‐ Group, post graduated program at P.A.R.T.S., Brussels. Since then he has been working in the fields of performing arts as a dancer, choreographer and teacher. As a choreographer he created number of choreographies collaborating with different production organizations and theatres (since 1995) among PTL, Emanat, SEAD, Cankarjev Dom, Exodos, Maska, etc. His choreographies ‐ solo Senser, duet At senses at the Times, solo for two Burlesque; were presented at various festivals world wide. Kejžar teaches contemporary technique, improvisation, and composition at different schools and universities, including P.A.R.T.S., SEAD, SNDO, as well as being a tutor at professional dance companies, such as Ultima Vez, Rosas and En Knap. He has been invited to present his work in countries across the globe, namely Austria, Russia, Italy, India, Taiwan, Spain, China, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, The Netherlands, Poland…
As a dancer he was working with Maja Delak (SI) and Anna Teresa de Keersmaeker (B) in the 2009 production of Rosas. The same year Kejžar moved to Brussels and formed SPIDER – an international artistic network together with Kink Kong (SI), Loge 22 (FR) and Kinitiras (GR). The network was created to connect artists from different fields and disciplines, working together in the field of contemporary dance in Europe..
Workshop 2: Tools for an exploration of movement.

About the workshop
The workshop lead by choreographers of Loge 22 is an invitation to the group to explore movement. Using choreographic tools they have implemented through the years of research and experience, they offer a “practice “ of the body through time and space.
“We propose tasks (instant writing, group composition, physical constraints, writing of material…) in which the performer by dint of investigation finds a space of freedom to express his sensations, feelings and emotions. The practice is to observe how the body reacts, structures itself and adjusts to the different proposals: put the body in motion to find the dance.”
The workshop is open to anyone, personally interested in such exploration, no matter how experienced they are in contemporary dance.
About Julien Monty
After 5 years spent in the Paris CNSM ‐ 1993 to 1998, Julien MONTY starts his professional life within the Ballet of the Nice Opera House. Eager for experiences, he left the world of Ballet, went up to Norway and worked with B‐Valiente Kompani, Io Strømgren and then joined the contemporary dance company Nye Carte Blanche in Bergen. Back in France, with François Laroche‐Valière, he joined in a long‐term work and took part in five creations. At the same time he worked for the Ballet Preljocaj for two seasons. He created a piece The Rubaïs Project for the festival «Corps à Coeur ». Later on, he returns to the Lyon Opera Ballet where he approached the work of choreographers such as Mathilde Monnier, William Forsythe, Philippe Decouflé. In 2005, he co‐founded the Loge 22 Collective with Marie Goudot and Michaël Pomero within which he created Rubaïs 3, Rubaïs 4, la marge and Déambulation Affective ‐ in association with Muriel Corbel; as well as Rémanence ou il fait bon, je tombe and Sur Faces (co‐directed with Michael Pomero). Since, he manages at once its choreographer and interpreter’s life by working for various companies and Loge 22. Since 2010, he is collaborating with Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Rosas.
About Michaël Pomero
Pomero was born in Corsica in 1980. He started dancing at the Junior Ballet Company and continued his studies at the Rudra Béjart Workshop School in Lausanne. He began his professional career in 1999 at the Béjart Ballet Lausanne. In 2001, he joined the Lyon Opera Ballet where he performed works by John Jasperse, Angelin Preljocaj, Dominique Boivin, Russell Maliphant and others. 2003 saw the beginning of his freelance career and a move to London, where he participated in two creations by Russell Maliphant, as well as working on different projects in the UK and Switzerland. In 2005, he co‐founded the Loge 22 Collective in Lyon. Michael has danced in productions by Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Christiane Blaise and Pierre Tallaron. For Loge 22, he directed the dance video FLAT, which was presented at the Dance on Screen Festival 2006 in London, created the performance Compresse et réduction for the Cannes Dance Festival 2007 and co‐directed Sur Faces with Julien Monty in 2008. Since 2009, he is collaborating with Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Rosas (The Song, 2009 – Creation 2011).
About Marie Goudot
After studying for 2 years at the Rudra School in Switzerland, MARIE GOUDOT joined the Béjart Ballet Lausanne for two years.
In 2000, she co-founded the dance company Les Ballets de la Parenthèse in Marseille with which she collaborated for three years. In the same time, she took part in a large outreach program through on-site and in-situ performances in all the different neighborhoods of Marseille. She also took part in several creations of the contemporary circus comapny NO. In 2003, she went to London, to work with the Russell Maliphant for 2 years, where she danced Choice, Two times three and The Barbican project. Back in France in 2005, Marie is a co-founder of the Loge 22 Collective and participated in six different performances. In 2006, she joined the Alias Company in Switzerland, performing I want to go home, Frankenstein!, 0,05. In 2007, she took part of the creation process of François Laroche Valière’s Et pour s’éloigner in Paris. In 2008, she worked with the IMDT, under the direction of John Scott in Dublin. Since then, she is essentially involved with the Collective Loge 22. And she is collaborating with Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Rosas, for the new creation.
